Tattoo Aftercare

Proper care is crucial for the healing and longevity of your tattoo. Here’s a streamlined guide for tattoo aftercare:

  1. Maintain the bandage for as long as advised, ideally until the next day.
  2. Cleanse your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before touching the tattoo.
  3. Gently remove the bandage to reveal a layer of ink and plasma; wash this off carefully with only your hands, avoiding cloths or scrubs. Repeat washing three times daily for four days.
  4. Allow the tattoo to air dry for about 15 minutes; avoid using towels as they can be harsh on the skin.
  5. Apply a thin coat of a gentle moisturizer like E45 cream, available at pharmacies, and let it absorb into the skin.
  6. Once the tattoo has fully healed and the scabs have fallen off, revealing new skin, discontinue the use of heavy creams.

General Care Tips:

  • Keep the tattoo away from water bodies and prolonged sun exposure for the initial two weeks.
  • Use sunscreen on the tattoo area for its entire lifespan and keep it moisturized.
  • Personal after-care products should not be shared, and hands must be clean before any tattoo contact.
  • Showers are fine, but avoid soaking the tattooed area.
  • Limit physical activities that may strain the tattoo during the healing phase.
  • Post-exercise, ensure to clean the tattoo, especially if gym equipment was used.

Booking a consultation

While we welcome walk-ins, it’s always better to book a consultation. This way you can meet with a tattoo artist face-to-face and find the perfect design for you.

  • Complimentary consultations are brief and valuable, so investing a few moments is recommended. Please come prepared with your ideas and any reference materials.
  • Your tattoo artist will provide an estimated quote. Remember, this figure is a preliminary assessment; actual service duration may vary, affecting the end price.
  • A 50% deposit is mandatory to confirm all appointments, which contributes to the design cost and secures your slot. This amount will be subtracted from the total cost of your service.
  • We offer free tattoo designs exclusively for clients who complete their tattoos with us. Should you decide to have your tattoo done elsewhere, the deposit will be non-refundable.

No bookings without a deposit.

  • Deposits are retained by the studio and are not returned upon cancellation.
  • Should you need to reschedule, your deposit can be transferred to the new appointment date, provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • For booking changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice, an additional deposit is required.
  • The deposit compensates the artist for time spent on design work in cases of cancellation or significant design changes.
  • After completing the initial design, the artist will provide a preliminary sketch for your review, with up to two rounds of revisions permitted.
  • Your artist manages multiple projects; your patience with the design process is appreciated.
